Am I pathetic or what?

So I am impossibly infatuated with this boy. He's like a shiny toy object, once I see him, I can't take my eyes off of him. He's impossibly dorky and funny and awkward. He's really shy and sweet. Whenever I look at him, he kind of stares at me for awhile. He's so beautiful, in the no-one-else-thinks-so way. I just don't know how to go about approaching him or asking him on a date or seeing if he likes me. I might laugh wrong or smile to big or something. Any help?
