How do you become emancipated in Ohio?

My best friend's dad is terrible. He is the most racist man I know! My friend has an african american boyfriend and when her dad found out he told her she was stupid and naive and that he would just hurt her and he made her burn all of her journals and cds made by black artists and even the comforter her boyfriend bought her for her birthday! She finally can't take it anymore and I want to help her so badly! It would work out so well, I turn 18 in 9 days and would glady take custody of her. I have a place with my boyfriend, we have a son, and we have lived there steadily for 6 months and are fine. I want to help her get on her feet, finish school, she's in her last year, and let her have some fun before she's 18, by her being able to go on school trips and stuff. She works very hard, puts every paycheck in the bank ,so i know she would help with bills which would give her the experience of living on her own, so that when the time comes, she can get her own place. I think her mom would go along with letting me but her dad surely wouldn't because he thinks all of her friends are terrible influences even though he;s trying to force his racial opinions on her. how can i help her? Can she get emancipated and live with me or can i legally adopt her until she is 18 in september of 2009?
