I talked to my crush and he hasnt said anything to me since may or june?

We talked for a week (we were friends for years) to catch up and then i told him i liked him and he said sorry but im talking to someone else i really like. He hasnt talked to me since and i started to wonder if this ruined our friendship. I told him that i just had to get it out and that i didnt want it to ruin our friendship. What should i do?
