Very important legal question please help?

Ok so I don't even know if I should be posting this but here goes. About eight months I went to a neighboring state to help out my friends, sister in law and be a nanny to her kids. Well she would leave on family trips and I would stay and watch her house. Well on October 31st she went down to see her family in my town and I stayed behind. I stayed because my aunt was coming in on a flight, and would be driving back that night. This lady I nannied for wanted some christmas stocking and a levi quilt embroidered on (my aunt runs an embroidery business) so the plan was my aunt would come get me and we were going to take back her stuff and embroider on it. We did it that way because she didn't want her kids to see their gifts and she didn't have room. Well my aunt came and went inside the house and used the bathroom. I kinda showed her the house, then we loaded up the stuff and left. Well the lady didn't leave me a key and so I had to leave through the back door and through the gate, but I didn't lock the gate because I had no key. Well we went home and they stayed until nov 2 and came home. Well in this time they had gotten robbed. They had a laptop taken, karaoke machines, jewelry and cameras and tvs. The robber apparently broke in through the dog door and ransacked the house and then smashed the pumpkins on the kitchen floor on the way out. So anyways the police came took their statements and basically told them it was probably your nanny because houses don't get robbed twice. (Oh ya three years ago they got robbed, and the guy took all their nice jewlery, and she told me this so all their jewlery was junk jewlery and not worth anything. And also to add their house didn't have an alarm system). So the cops keep calling me and asking me questions over the phone, and the first few times it didn't bother me, but now its starting to get annoying. I mean I showed my aunt the house before we left and everything was just fine. No smashed pumpkins no ransaked house or anything. I'm irrated because if I had taken all this stuff where would I have put it? I only had my luggage and christmas stocking and you can't hide anything there and besides my aunt took everything home with her so if I had taken it wouldn't she have seen it? So what do I do? My aunt is a respectable bussiness woman that wouldn't lie for me and were not the kind that's into petty theft. So do the cops still think its us? Would they try and frame us for this? And if they contunie should I get a lawyer?
